Not practical as a portable sewing kit.
Would be OK as a refill for a portable sewing kit but not as a sewing kit itself, as the items are small and easily lost with no location to put the items once the pack is opened. The small scissors are very spindly and hard to use, and the kit I received only had one small and slightly larger needle. I was hoping for a few more needles, maybe a small pack of five or so contained within the kit.
