The bad thing was the ethernet port was not working. I was able to get the printer to work with one from my old printer though.

Hard to tell about the quality but I would buy it again
This is the kind of stuff that when you need it you need it so doesn't hurt to have some on hand.

This item is lighter than one would expect but seems decent
Came with instructions. Though I know how to use a multimeter, I didn't know how to use all of the functions and the instuctions helped. Inexpensive so I don't have to worry about damaging it. Mighy buy another one and might buy it for a gift. Uses 9 volt battery.
