Excellent unit

I had to replace a trusted stand. This unit comfortably handles having up to six light units on it. It is sturdy and well built. The lock feature when the base 'legs' are extended is great security. I've used it in halls with high ceilings and venues with low ceilings and it has worked well in all of them. The only thing I would caution is that the T-bar is long and it takes careful packing when I have to transport it. I do manage to get it in the car, though some creative angles to have to be used to fit it in. If this was for a static location and I wasn't travelling with a vehicle full of DJ gear, I would have zero reservations. As it is, it is always with the gear I take to gigs.

Good replacement

I bought one of these a year ago when the cable on my original began to fray. It has worked well ever since. I've since bought spares for both my laptops as they are so cost effective to buy and leave in the main locations I use my laptop. This has prevented me having to constantly remember to take them with me.
