Beauty of a model looks like it could fly
These "Wings of Texaco" airplane/bank collectibles are painted mostly in flashy red emblazoned with the Texaco logo and some occasional sponsor ID that is impressively tiny while holding sharp reproduction. A very nice representation of the Curtiss Robin. I like the rendition of the Robin's wide, high-aspect-ratio wing, a reason for the ocean-spanning range of this airplane. Even though it's heavy when you hold it, you almost believe you could sail it a goodly distance.

Enlightening and fun to read
Arthur Conan Doyle, even as a very young lad, was a mighty fine writer; and the editor-annotators of his letters are uber-helpful. An incredibly interesting life was led by Conan Doyle.
