No resemblance to the story as writen. I can't even give this movie 1 star - it doesn't deserve it!
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich Other than the names of the characters and the title, nothing even begins to resemble the original story. I can't believe that Steven King allowed this movie to be made based on his monumental writing (except purely for the money).
I have read the entire series of books, this movie is an insult to readers and fans of the original story! It is nothing but an effort by Hollywood to cash in on a well known writer and perhaps his greatest effort. I was disgusted the entire time that I watched it.
This DVD goes into the garbage can tonight. I'm glad that I didn't pay to actually go to the theater to see it.
Of all of the Steven King movies that have been messed up by Hollywood, this is the worst botch job I've seen.
To all fans of the great writer, don't watch this movie - read the books!
