Still the best model after all these years...
This is one of the best laptop coolers STILL. It has a solid construction and the adjustable fan speed is a godsend. I've had this model before--for about 7 years, and have since gone through 3 other laptop coolers, none of which were as quiet or dependable. I went looking for a new one recently and decided to spend a little extra money for the Zalman. Not all Zalman laptop coolers are equal though--the "newer" plastic models have bigger fans (which are great) but their construction isn't as solid. The only thing I wish this had is a USB 3.0 port to replace the one I'm using as a pluggin for the cooler itself. I do like though that it only requires one port (some require 2--ugh). It looks like Zalman has left the laptop cooler world though; I haven't seen a new product from them in a long time. It fits my 15" laptop just fine.
