Ulysses
Produced all those years ago, with out SFX and CGI, and still stands atop the heap. Loved it when I was a kid and still love it now.

Uncle Tom's Cabin
Having read the book, I found the film misleading and a flat out a misrepresentation of the book. That said, I do understand the historic nature, not of the film itself, but of the times that the film was produced. Just another sad chapter in our historic struggle for common ground and equal rights.
