It works!
My first attempt to repair one. Much cheaper than new device! U-tube videos gave me confidence.

Not factory new.
Item was sold as new, but it had previously been opened. The factory security seal had been visibly torn away from the item, and the discs had small scratches that you don’t see with brand-new, unhandled items. A replacement shrink-wrap had been affixed. Otherwise, they play fine.

Read the book - skip the movie.
The disc quality was very good and it got here earlier than promised. The book is much better. If your girlfriend likes Antonio, this may be a date movie. If she can read - buy her the book. (Eaters of the Dead, by Michael Crichton)
