Try it and you'll never want to be without it. Super value
I lost my much loved 50mm 1.8G and just had to have another. I use this for street photography, products and portraiture. On DX format it's equivalent (almost) to a 75 mm on full frame. It produces crisp images with plenty of contrast and lovely bokeh. If you want to make beautiful pictures this lens will be the perfect partner to help you on your way. It's extremely good value, well constructed, weather sealed and should be in every serious photographer's kit bag. In my opinion it's better optically than the more expensive 50mm 1.4. Buy it.

An easy side splitting read.
This is a classic and not to be missed. Set off on a mad journey with the most unlikely characters in this hilarious tale that almost defies description. Be prepared for laugh out loud moments as the hundred year old man leads you on a global jaunt.
