A decent book but definitely NOT a “bible”
This book has both color and black & white upper case letters. The size is rather small. All I can say is that the book is extremely lacking and disappointing as one might feel expecting a “Bible of Illuminated Lettering”.. Even given it’s small size, I would expect hundreds MORE illustrations and less chatter.

CHEAP DOLL HOUSE ITEM
3 inch long X 2 inch wide fluted sponge mounted on 5 inch long X 1/2 inch wide extremely thin plastic handle. Size and strength are practically good for nothing. Prone to easy breakage. Would not be suitable for child’s playhouse.

NO ALPHABETS IN THIS BOOK!
I purchased this book for the “fonts” which I assumed were alphabets in many different styles. I’m a sign painter. The book is actually a story line made up with complete or partial sentences in many different fonts. It could be cute at times or nostalgic as seen through the eyes of a man presumably now in his 70’s from boyhood on. At times it comes off as fascinating while others it’s only idle gibberish. One thing is for sure. This book is for the printer’s trade. It is NOT for sign painters or artists. In that light I do not recommend it; however, I gave it three stars for it’s clever literary merit.
I purchased this book through eBay and at no time was my dissatisfaction a reflection of the seller. I registered glowing feedback remarks and highest scores.
