A Very Useful Tool for Your Parental Toolkit!
This is a well-written guide on how to handle difficult subjects with your children throughout the progressive stages of their development.
There are portions I can have my kids read, and others where I will read the content on my own and then use it as a guideline for a helpful discussion with my kids.

Best Study Bible I’ve Ever Used
I think the MacArthur Study Bible is the best study Bible because it most effectively communicates the meaning of each biblical passage based on its historical and linguistic context. In other words, John MacArthur does an amazing job of helping the reader understand what, historically, was happening at the time each book of the Bible (there are 66 books in the Bible) was written, why each book was written, and how this drives the meaning of each book. There is an introduction section at the beginning of each book explaining this. The bottom one-third (approximately) of each page in this study Bible contains notes that further explain the meaning of the verses based on the original languages (typically ancient Hebrew and Greek) as well as cross-references from other related parts of the Bible that add context and understanding.
Some skeptics say that people can make the Bible support whatever viewpoint they want, or that it’s impossible to know what the Bible means or says. Yet this study Bible disproves this assertion by objectively analyzing the historical context, the meaning of the ancient languages in which passages were originally written, and biblical and external historical sources that help build a clear picture of meaning and intent.
I was raised in the Christian faith, but had a crisis of faith while stationed overseas in my early twenties. Rather than take Christianity for granted based on what my parents or childhood pastor had told me, I wanted to understand the historical credibility of the Bible . I prayed and told God that I needed Him to show me that He was real, and that this foundational document about Him and the faith was credible. I read the Encyclopedia Britannica’s 99-page section on Biblical literature, and was amazed by the affirming manuscript evidence of the historical validity of the Bible. Convinced that the Bible was indeed a credible historical document, I now wanted to understand how it practically applied to my life. This study Bible has played a significant role in that for the last three decades. I own other helpful study Bibles such as The Reformation Study Bible by RC Sproul, The ESV Study Bible, The Zondervan Study Bible with editor DA Carson, The Life Application Study Bible, The Back to the Bible Study New Testament with JV McGee, The New Schofield Reference Bible, The Thompson Chain Reference Bible, and The Archeological Study Bible. All of them have been helpful, and I am convinced that if you sincerely ask God to reveal to you Who He is, what He has done, and how you can know Him personally as you diligently study any Bible, God will show you. But I would suggest starting with The MacArthur Study Bible.
