Adapter broke off in drill. Advanta made it right.

After successfully drilling a 6 inch deep, 2.5 inch wide hole in my house foundation to run some electrical wires yesterday, today I started drilling a nearby hole for some additional wire. I was using the Advanta Tools 2.5 inch diamond core bit and the Advanta Tools SDS adapter designed for the bit. About an inch into the second hole that adapter/shank broke off inside my Bosch hammer drill rendering it useless. I tried to dislodge the broken off adapter piece but could not. I can no longer use my hammer drill and my project is on hold. The drilling location (on a vertical concrete wall just below my deck) did not allow me to put a lot of pressure on the bit. It took me about 2.5 hours to drill one hole through the six inches of concrete. The second hole was going to take me even longer with the slightly worn bit. I let Advanta know of my unhappy situation just prior to writing this review. I will let you know how they respond. UPDATE: It's been a couple weeks since I wrote the initial part of my review. Since then I finished drilling my second hole and drilled two more holes. My rotohammer has been repaired. The broken off part of the Advanta adapter was easily remove by a local tool repair shop. Advanta wondered if I might have put too much pressure on the core bit and by doing so put too much stress on the adapter. I am convinced I did not. In any case, Advanta offered to pay for my tool's repair after estimating how much it would probably cost. They stepped up and helped me out. At this point I believe that I bought what might be called an 'adapter lemon'. I suppose every company that makes a metal product has trouble with one every once in awhile. They replaced the broken adapter in addition to offering to pay for my rotohammer repair. While I may be slightly nervous about how long my new adapter will last I have nothing but good things to say about the dry diamond core bit I bought from Advanta. It is still going strong after drilling four holes in my home's 6 inch foundation. The bit went through a piece of 5/8 inch rebar in one of the holes. This was not the hole the adapter broke in. Awesome core bit. Advanta did right by me. I am impressed and grateful.

Awesome Internet Connected Irrigation Controller

I've had it installed for about a month now. No problem during setup and no problems connecting locally or remotely to the device and controlling all its features. I am very impressed with the hardware and software.
