Pathetic instructions but good value
This was purchased to use in the caravan just in case there was anything we didn't want to miss. It is very basic in that you can only record the channel that is on view, but that doesn't matter as you watch the tv direct so this is acceptable. What is not acceptable is the so called instruction manual. You may as well throw it away and spend a couple of hours sorting it out yourself.
This is a shame, because the box is great value and when you manage to sort out how it works, it does the job.

Easy fit.
This was purchased as a like for like replacement for one that was approx 10 years old. As it was bought as a pair it was already paired at the factory, and as the cables fix to the backplate it was a simple matter of replacing the front and turning the power back on - simple.

Why pay more !!!!
After fitting one on a previous classic car I had no qualms about buying the same again for my 1970 Mk2 Cortina. It took about an hour to fit module, coil, distributor cap, leads, spark plugs and reset timing. This from someone who has limited mechanical expertise, it is that straightforward. By using the upgrade instead of a full electronic distributor, in the unlikely event of a failure I can revert to points ignition in about 20 minutes to get home.
