A Modern Classic
Prices vary a lot for this model, but pick up a cheaper example and you've got yourself a quality watch. It has all the features like a stopwatch, date, luminescence and sapphire glass. The stopwatch is particularly impressive, showing tenths of seconds and also allowing lap times. But it's the style I like most, with subtle curved glass and a bold, modern, uncluttered design which makes it timeless. These attributes also make the watch highly legible, which of course reflects Mondaine's heritage of Swiss station clock making. A final bonus for me was the 20mm strap size, allowing me to easily fit a NATO strap (see picture).

Cheap and nasty
I've had good cheap kitchen timers before, but this one was so poor it went straight in the bin. It looks and feels like a cheap toy. The buttons are extremely nasty and imprecise. I wish I could say something positive about it, but honestly, it is a waste of money and resources exporting such a low quality product.
