Excellent piece of kit

I bought this hoping that it would work with our caravan directional ariel. I was not disappointed. Having downloaded a couple of apps which were at the best iffy, l tried this. Perfect everytime. As for the negative reviews, l can only suggest the owners ‘practice’ a little. Disconnect any amplifiers and use the coax straight from the ariel. Turn the thumbscrew wheel right off, and then increase it a little at a time until you just get a response. At this point move the ariel and see what happens. The perfect scenario is to have the wheel at its lowest setting. A bit like a squelch really. Hope that this helps.

Great little project

I bought this little yacht as a replacement for my old boat that wore out. On the whole it is a cracking piece of kit, and extremely good value for money. I generally fly rc planes, but was missing something for the occasional windy day. The only drawback I have, is the very poor instructions that come with the yacht. The instructions obviously missed a bit in translation, and the photos which would have helped immensely are very dark, if these had been up to standard l would definitely have gave it the 5 stars that it deserved. Saying this though, with a bit of trial and error l did manage to figure it out in an evening, and can’t wait to get it wet tomorrow.
