Great quality and workmanship. Poor performance
The action worked perfectly, the ejector worked perfecttly, it included the wrench to change it, it was very simple to change. The workmanship and finish is awesome. I havent had a chance to shoot a 45 through it yet and dont know if i will. I bought it for pest control, hoping to use the 410. I had several shots at rats approximately 2 1/2 yards away, with a steady rest, sometimes 2 rats sitting side by side together. i shot it several times now, using 2 1/2 inch 8 and 9 shot, and 3 inch 6 shot. Im not positive if i even hit any of the rats, they looked like the sound scared them more than they were injured. Tried shooting a 3 foot x 5 foot piece of cardboard at 3 yards, and the 2 closest pellets were about 2 3/4 inches apart. i knew the pattern would be large with the 3 1/2 inch barrel, but if i cant kill 2 rats pressed close together at 2 1/2 yards with a rest, i dont know how its going to kill a snake, unless im holding the snake in 1 hand and shooting it with the other. My 3 inch 357 barrel was more effective with #9 birdshot. But to expensive to shoot.
