Too specialized for general use.
I’ve been using plastic straws for over 70+ years. Considering all the plastic jamming our landfills and dumped in our waters, it seemed like a natural to start using steel straws.
In shopping around, I came across these stainless steel straws. I especially liked the inclusion of silicone tips to place in one’s mouth when drawing forth the beverage of choice.
When I received the stainless steel straws, it was immediately apparent that they were no more than half the diameter of a regular plastic straw.
My desired use was to use them in my various tumblers which all contain a straw hole in the top caps. I was looking for a snug fit. These straws are so thin that they wobble around. And I’d probably have a stroke trying to draw through a heavier liquid like a pulped juice or a milk shake.
The stainless straws are of a fine enough quality and inexpensive enough that I will keep them and hope to use them for something in the future.

Dependable...Works Really Well
I had a couple of flat inner tubes that I set about to put put patches on. I got all my supplies layed out on my work bench, found the pinhole leaks in the tubes, and got busy.
I roughed up the pinhole areas, opened the large tube of rubber cement that I had previously used, and began applying the cement to the tubes.
To my surprise out came a watery fluid that provided no stickiness whatsoever . It appeared that all the cement had evaporated through the walls of the tube.
I had an old depleted Park VP-1 repair kit in my bench so I decided to never again purchase large tubes of rubber cement but instead buy a 4-pack of the Park repair kits.
They arrived several days after I ordered them. And I immediately opened one and applied patches to the flat inner tubes. Worked like a charm. I put two kits in my two saddle bags, gave one to my riding buddy, and have one in reserve in my repair kit.
Highly recommend.
