Fits and easy to install.
Fits 2001 GLS Passat original wheels and snaps in easily.

The part fit an early model 2001 Passat....
The part fit an early model 2001 Passat. To remove lift off the light cover off and there are two small circular wells with Phillips screws at the bottom. Look at the new unit to see where there are small clips on all four corners. Insert a plastic putty knife to bend back clips on old unit and pull down.
There are two electrical plugs that need to be unplugged.
My only complaint is the face plate is thin and I damaged it slightly when trying to figure out how it all installed. Unit is new.
