A very effective heatsink unit!
The heatsink part of the device is very substantial and capable of absorbing a lot of heat from the processor. The fan is fully controllable (a 4-pin device) and runs fairly quietly.

Good product, but a little too dim!
Firstly, the product is well made - has a "solid" feel, and the clip is strongly sprung, so that it's unlikely to come adrift from the music stand. On the other hand, I was disappointed to find that it gave inadequate light for my purposes, which is playing my home-made Hauptwerk organ. I intend to try and modify the unit, so that it's brighter; this will mean using a different power supply, unfortunately.
