BAHCO 396-LAP LAPLANDER
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich The Bahco Laplander looks lika a very large folding knife, but is indeed a saw. The teeth are very aggressive and cuts in both directions. One sawblade similar, that I have tested, is the victorinox folding knifes sawblade. This is similar in style and teeth and effectivness, but much larger. Also this is is a coated blade and it also have a locking mechanism for the blade. However the bulk and weight is very manageable and it can for instance travel in your Fjällräven trousers side leg pocket without hassle. It fills an excellent spot inbetween the small victorinox saw and the large bowsaw. I recommend to exchange the rawhide cord to one of similar length that is of bright color so its easy to find if misplaced. The cord also works as a sort of handguard if used so yor hand cannot slip forward onto the teeth.I also recommend using gloves and be careful when folding it back together so not to cause injuries while out in the bush, also try keep the cord away from the teeth while unfolding it. I found this for an excellent ebay price, half of what I could find it for around my parts, so I actually got 2, and keep 1 as a spare for the future. Good luck out in the bush and woods! 1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Good budget midrange processor. Refurbished, but very well maintained. Almost new finish on the surface heatshield. Mine came well wrapped in regular envelope in a plastic processor protection case.
