Stunning Sutherland Gems
Sutherland was without doubt one of the greatest singers of the last century and this box set of six discs contains one gem after another. Used, it was a real deal.

Great recording of Lucretia Borgia
This recording features Joan Sutherland, late in her career, but still in tremendous voice. The supporting cast includes Horne, Aragall, and Wixell who are also among the best singers of the era. This recording of Lucrezia Borgia competes favorably with Perlea set with Caballe in the lead, title role. Truth is both recordings are worth the purchase. Don't miss.

A Brilliant William Tell
This studio recording of William Tell in the original French version is gorgeous. It is hard to believe that it was recorded over fifty years ago. The singers are wonderful. The orchestra sounds great as does the chorus. In particular Montserrat Caballe sings beautifully.
