Worked perfectly after I fixed my error by not seating plug
Installing this screen only took 20 min. Only would have taken 10 if I didn’t have to do it twice. MAKE SURE TO SEAT THE 40 PIN CONNECTOR PLUG ALL THE WAY!! I changed the screen and fired up the HP laptop and the screen was VERY dark. Could barely see the image on the screen. Thought for 2 min...then reinstalled the screen...this time using reading glasses to inspect the 40pin plug that goes into the screen. I didn’t seat the plug all the way the first time. Second time, screen looked great!! Looks bright and all touch function works. NICE QUALITY SCREEN. Love the glossy finish!! Couldn’t believe how fast it came to my house too...Ordered on a Sunday and it came on a Wednesday (shipped to Detroit MI suburb).
This appears to be a first rate product. Only used for an hour, but works perfectly.
