Howard Leight Impact Sport Sound Amplification Green Electronic Shooting Earmuff

Work well, fit bad.

Amplified sound is very clear and shuts off loud sounds quickly and effectively. Quality is good as was fit and comfort. However, I bought these as hearing protection while shooting skeet and they will not work in this application. The muffs sit too low on the face and interfere with the stock of the gun when raising it to shoot. They would be good for pistol shooting or when around machinery but these aren't going to work with rifles or shotguns.

Vignetting Problems

The construction and quality of the optics are better than I expected for the price and it mounts on my Nikon D-60 easily. Unfortunately, if I zoom the lens out to the full extent as recommended in the literature the field of view suffers from vignetting. Bringing the zoom back to where this is eliminated reduces the field of view to the same width as being fully zoomed out without the macro lens on. So, unless you're willing to accept the vignetting, it does not increase the width of your field of view.

They worked but not likely t.o last

The price for these was very low but the quality was not very good either. Some of them arrived broken as well. I have good clamps for normal use and needed these for an odd job. They did work in my application so they were a decent value. If you don't plan to use them often I recommend them.
