The Risk That Paid Off

Long version: As someone who took a hiatus from online multiplayer games for almost a year, I saw the first trailer for Battlefield 1 and was impressed. The Battlefield series has been staying in modern times with Call Of Duty pushing for futuristic warfare so to go back to WW1 was a bold and daring. However, I played Battlefield 4 about 2 years and I wasn't really happy with it so I decided to wait and see what everyone else thinks and what Call of duty has up their sleeves.
COD: WW2 was released in November (correct me if I'm wrong) and while it was cool, it didn't impress me like I thought it would. So I decided to go for and get the game. I was very impressed with it; the campaign is good, the multiplayer is extremely fun and takes skill, the different modes like operations are really fun and you can play them for tons of hours, the guns and other mechanincs feel great and are balanced, the maps have good variety and have that WW1 horror vibe with various effects like fog and awesome explosions, the music was a very big surprise as it is apparent and epic that I didn't think I would notice as much as I did in a FPS. I would definitely pick this game and give it a shot!
