Works for me! Bought 2 and both worked perfectly!
The seal works perfectly. If it doesn't, then perhaps some mineral buildup around the bottom of the flush valve OR it is not in its groove completely. Getting the right groove is important and it is the one on the upper portion of the part that attaches to the bottom of the tank.
Why did I need a seal in the first place? The symptom is hard to flush - as the flush valve sticks to a worn-out seal.
