As stunning peice of technology that's as magnificent today as it was ~15 years ago once repaired!
Pros: Good value: overall good cosmetic condition, unit has good repair documentation available on the web. Unless you're comfortable with disassembly of one of the most complex entertainment devices I would discourage the faint of heart for attempting to take on the challenge. The good news I managed to procure the special screws & make the required repairs, It's stunning & a real icebreaker when clients come in. The milled aluminum wing-doors, 6mm thick glass display & machined billet chassis are top quality.
Cons: It was not disclosed as a unit that had been opened & unsuccessful at repaired, had screws missing & partially reassembled although advertised as a "repair or spares" unit. I can't protest too much because I ended up with a perfectly working unit.
