Having followed the Northern Soul scene from back in 1973 visiting Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, Twisted Wheel attending numerous visiting live acts over the years, with frequent excursions to the US to add to my collection. I interviewed a number of artists while sending articles for the " On The Scene " magazine in the early resurgence of the Northern Soul scene from 2000`s entitled " Word On The Kerb" bought records in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey and Texas. I even dabbled on the turntables playing venues in mainly in the North West, Preston, Blackpool, Lancaster, North Wales and in Cortona, Italy. Did a project with a singer in Philly with Weldon McDougall III then later with Helen Bruner and Terry Jones ( daughter of one of Northern Soul`s great singers Linda Jones). The time has come to sell my collection as a very close friend needed surgery in South America and every penny from my sales has gone to help in their operations and gradual recovery.
