Steam shovel is low quality, not worth the money.
The flat car is very nice, and solid. As would be expected of Lionel. The model of the steam shovel that comes with the car, as a kit though, is very low quality compared to other models I have assembled. Nothing with the model fit or lined up correctly. It was very poorly designed and caused many a frustrating moment during assembly. Many of the parts had to be held in place with weight or tape while being glued together. I would highly reccommend the flat car from Lionel but not the steam shovel model.
