Excellent mini series
Excellent information; basic infor to get us up to speed. This is a subject we were not aware of in depth and this gave us a birds eye view of the how's and why's of these battles.
Informative, definetly not for a more seasoned expert, but an excellent review and insight for folks like us who did not learn much about the Civil War in school.

I guess anyone who is into photography may find this appealing, to see untapped talent such as Maier had.

Outstanding and different slant to the War.
We found this mini series to be excellent. It had a different spin on it, unlike a regular war movie, or even a documentary on the war, its strategys. It was about how people came together, how small town America felt, how we percieved what we thought we knew the war was about.
We learned more about the small details we never knew. Overall, we have re-watched it a second time.
Excellent, different perspective on the war from those who lived it.
