Fit and forget for the next 40 yrs
The original tap has been on the tank for nearly 40yrs and fails to shut-off the fuel flow to the carburettor. This straight replacement has been a fit-and-forget exercise.
No leaks from the tank/tap seal nor any from the internal seal.

The best non OEM inks I've tried yet.
Prints with good quality colour. Tends to pull 2 pages if when doing double-sided if not allowed to dry long enough before re-stacking into paper tray. Then again the HP 1220c is old for one thing and was always sensitive to paper transport difficulties due to damp paper. Printing the second side one sheet at a time using the upper tray is tedious but it's better than reprinting 2 or 3 pages out of every 10 - and you don't have to wait for them to dry either.
For those wondering how I'm using a 1220c with Windows 10 the answer is Linux. Works out of the box.
