It worked as advertised
Had a problem with TV not switching on (standby light was ON). Replacing this board solved it (replacing power supply board did not solve it; I should have known better). One of the connectors was a bit tough to remove (I was afraid of pulling the wires out), but careful persistence worked.

It works
I used this one to replace the one in my car that had split, and the new one works fine. I’m guessing that the split came from the previous one splitting from ice in it because I didn’t have the appropriate washer fluid, and it gets cold in Nevada.

Provides more reliable power than USB cable.
Brought my dead-battery GDL-52 back to life. I had been using a USB cable to charge it and that stopped working after the battery died at one point.
