Not a good deal and why was it hot without running for 15 hours
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich It actually tests out at 50 amps and not 90. How can that be? You advertise it as 90 amps!
The mechanic installed it Friday, I drove it home and on Saturday morning it would not start.
I opened the hood and the alternator was was too hot to touch and the vehicle had not even been started.in 15 hours - figure that one out. ??????????????????????
When I took it to an alternator shop this morning (in business for 25+ years) he said it tested out but it may be intermittent at doing this, He said it was junk, I said should I return it and he said you would get more of the same. I got the mini from you because it was chrome and I needed a small one in order for the hood to close. I just put a new engine in it and wanted it too match and he could not build a mini alt in chrome It is in a 1958 corvette and I just stuck $14,000 in it. He said if it happens again, he would replace the regulator portion of it.

Not what I thought I was getting, 1st time any problem with ordering fro EBAY
Wrong size, the rubber crumbled when putting it on the sleeve.
