A great guide into cult movies.
This is my second copy I have bought of this book. I'm going to send a copy of the book as well as some of the movies listed to a friend. I have watched 99 of the movies listed while my copy of Scorpio Rising is waiting to be watched. I can't find a copy of Chelsea Girls so that will be my one hold out.The Rocky Horror Picture Show got me into cult movies and is still my favorite. But it was Tommy that made me buy the book because I don't always see it listed as a cult film. Unlike Rocky Horror I saw it when it first came out way back in 1975. It was nice to see both Brian De Palmas Sisters and Phantom of the Paradise included.I can't help wondering why Freaks, Blade Runner and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory weren't included. Not one movie from John Carpenter was included.No Halloween, The Thing or They live? But all films in this book are worth watching.Brick and Neco Z Alenky were my two new favorite discoveries.

Chained for Life
This movie was in The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film by Michael Weldon. This is the best book on cult films ever written. My copy is falling apart. I have another but I got John Saxon to autograph it and now I hate to use it. Almost all of page 113 is devoted to Chained for Life so I just had to watch it. Long live the weird and the wonderful!
