I cannot use the regular earplugs of whatever brand -it hurts my ears after just about 10-20 minutes. I tried over-the-ear earphones but it's bulky, even the folding ones. Until I discovered this Sony MDR-W08L, --this is fantastic! Now I listen to music for hours and hours and hours. It feels like "It's not even there." I learned that this is a 1995 production and hence discontinued by Sony but I will be looking everywhere to buy some -these are great gifts for people on the go.
