Not just for blokes
Despite the scenario, my wife really enjoyed this series. There is roughly a 50/50 split between up-front action and domestic bliss/turmoil.
Moves at a cracking pace and well acted.

Not all doom and gloom
Despite dealing with a post-nuclear war situation, the film never fails to lift the mood.
Milligan fans will revel in the surreal approach to life, closely following the Goons type of humour. Although Spike does not have a large part in the film his spirit does pervade the film. Arthur Lowe is the central figure, as his usual pompous figure, leading a family through the wilderness.
The plot is secondary, but does maintain its presence throughout. I would say this is the best film by Spike Milligan, the most rounded and complete.
Recommended to any lovers of the surreal.

Competent well priced mower
Well made, fairly quiet and light. Assembly instructions poor, microscopic illustrations.
