Upgrade Carburetor.
This carburetor is an upgraded replacement for the Walbro WT-227, as recommended by Stihl technicians. After rebuilding the old carburetor for the last 5-6 years, I decided to replace the carburetor. That's when I discovered that my old carb. was upgraded to the Walbro WT-264. This is used on a Stihl brush cutter model FS-76. I installed the new carburetor, and performed additional tune up maintenance on the brush cutter to get ready for the start of the cutting season. The brush cutter started up immediately, and I only had to make a minor adjustment to the idle speed setting. Using a tachometer, I was able to see that the high, and idle speed settings were adjusted within tolerance. Honestly the only way that I can give a review that could be used to help others decide if this is for them, would be to use the carburetor for at least a full cutting season. As far as price, and seller, I feel that the value I paid, is compatible with what others are asking. The seller had everything in stock, and shipped immediately as promised. Great seller, they even followed up with a phone call. Will use again if I need other repair parts.
