Best by Far
This is by far the best Jane Eyre adaptation to screen of them all (1943,1970,1983, 1996, 1997, 2006 & 2011) in my opinion. The acting is top-notch, and the character development is such that the storyline is both believable and understandable whether or not you have read the book.
