Aircraft In Profile Volume #12 Doubleday & Company, Inc.*

Completed collection

This volume has fewer profiles than earlier volumes so, in that is, less desirable; however, it was purchased to complete my collection of Volumes 1 through 14 - all published by Doubleday - so it was a necessary purchase. The profiles are the same high quality, well researched profiles that appear in the earlier volumes, there are just fewer of them than are included in Volumes 1 through 10.

Important piece of history - but. . .

The book is very important from a historic perspective but the price seems a little high for a paperback reprint. I was expecting more pictures/discussion of the specific locations described rather than a simple listing.of most of them. Having said this, I will still keep the book and share it with others. I am not unhappy with the purchase - more just feeling that it was an okay decision to buy - but not a great one.

Easy Repair

I was able to "save" my favorite small maglight flashlight with this purchase. When the batteries expanded and became seriously stuck in the flashlight I had to break the switch assembly in order to push them out from the top end of the flashlight. I then purchased this replacement and simply slipped it into the body of the flashlight and had a "new" flashlight. A very easy and effective fix. Don't throw a flashlight with swollen batteries away.
