Panasonic GX8 and Nikon Reflex C 500mm are a very powerful combination
Since 1968 i own Nikon cameras: F2A photomic, FE and FM. I still use these today with various lenses: nikkor AF Nikkor 28 mm / f2.8, Nikkor-H 28 mm / 3.5
Nikkor 50 mm / f1.8, AF Nikkor 28 mm-80mm / f3.3-5.6.
My favorite is the 70-210 mm / f4.0 (E Series) zoom attached to my Panasonic Lumix GX8 with Novoflex adapter (Nikon m4/3). This works very well for shooting wildlife objects and animals.
I bought the Nikon Reflex C 500mm for shooting astrophotography objects (mainly the moon). It performs exceptionally well with the NF4 filter. The other filters: L37C, Y52, O56 and R60 are for more specific use.
Having read many reviews in the net i was aware of the "limitations" of this lens.
In fact I was very surprised to discover the high performance of this lens (crisp pictures) and NO bokkeh problem at all! Focussing is also NO problem due to the superior GX8 capability with the digital focussing aid.
Panasonic GX8 and Nikon Reflex C 500mm is a very powerful combination for me!
