Little work horse
Pros: Easy to empty & clean, simple maintenance, compact, not too loud in comparison to other shredders. The basket is a solid piece of plastic (no mesh to spill paper dust), the basket has no weird things for paper to get stuck on or make putting the basket back a hassle, and the basket is CLEAR so you can see how much paper is in the basket. You will always known when you need to empty the basket.
Cons: Has an auto, reverse, and off button but no forward button (which is probably an optional button). As a work around, I just lift the shredder off of the basket a centimeter and put it back down. Once it connects to the basket it goes forward for a second or two. You have to repeat this process, but its not hard. This was the only compact cross-cut shredder that didn't seem like a piece of junk and had good reviews. I like to have forward, to toggle between reverse, to knock any clumped up paper out.
It can only do four sheets of paper at a time - or two folded 8.5 X 11 inch pages. A folded sheet counts as two. The slot is small and does not accommodate a normal 8.5 X 11 sheet of paper. I knew this prior to purchasing it so I am not surprised. I wanted super compact and lightweight and was willing to compromise on how many sheets I could shred at once.
Overall I rate this about a 9 out of 10. The minor cons do not outweigh the pros. I was constantly cussing up a storm emptying my prior paper shredder. This model is a drastic improvement over what I had before. And unless it breaks on me, which I don't anticipate, it should last for a while and is a great product.

Good s##t.
I find them comfortable. Cord length is longer than some retractable earbuds I bought from two different dollar stores. Less likely to yank out of my laptop. My only gripe is the tiny metal band that keeps you from splitting the left and right cords keeps me from going further. It's not ideal for me but it will work. 4.5 out of 5.

Better than plastic
I had a bunch of dress that no longer fit around the neck due to muscle gain. I scored some free plastic extenders from a clothing store. But they were so hard to put on by myself (needed help). The stretchy coils on the metal ones make it MUCH easier to put on than the plastic ones. I could also the plastic ones warping or breaking of I used them too often. So I knew I needed to upgrade. The metal coils give a little stretch so it doesn't feel so tight. I could use one metal extender instead of two plastic ones. I really only need them if I'm putting on a tie and have to button my collar. But occasionally I have to wear a tie and these are perfect.
