Jung' Mangum Opus
Jung's final work is one of his most important and often overlooked books in history. This book is a bit more difficult than some of his other works and often is passed over because of the perceived difficulty in reading it. If you have never read Jung and attempt to start here it will be difficult, however, if you have read Symbols of Transformation, Archetypes, Aion, Answer to Job, Psychology and Alchemy, East and West and Modern Man in Search of Soul this book will be much easier to understand.
Reading Eliade's series A History of Religious Ideas prior to this will also be somewhat helpful with understanding Jung's work.
For some readers the first half may be highly intimidating. Try reading the second part first and then go back if you feel like you are struggling.

One of the most important books of the 20th century
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Part II of a III part series this book is a must read for all humans. Perhaps the most difficult of the three books this deals specifically with the horror of the camps, life inside for the various people who were swallowed by the Organs of the state.
The solution to the spread of communism is to read these books. Upon completion the reader can come to no other conclusion than that socialism in any form leads to horror and must never again be attempted.
The principle understanding of Gulag is that it occurred not because of the evil of the leadership but rather because the people allowed themselves to devolve into a state of perpetual apathy and self preservation.
You today! Me tomorrow! This is the way of camp life. This is the way of Soviet existence.

One of Jung's finest works
The work is among Jung's finest. Dealing with the specific archetypes of Christianity this book should be required reading for anyone living in the west to understand how our society functions.
