Good price but it is not a functional tool as it is ,the fit on the pinion gear is off and doesn't .
The puller did not fit over the pinion gear , I have a Jim's pinion gear puller and used that instead . Your pinion gear puller might fit a smaller Sportster pinion gear but it would not fit with the 1984 shovelhead pinion gear I removed yesterday . Some times I double up on tools , the reason being , I need to have a complete selection of tools in two separate locations . Buying this tool was to add a second one at a lower cost from the Jim's tool , like I said my other pinion gear puller is a Jim's , it fit , yours didn't . I can put the tool I bought from you in my milling machine and fly cut it so it will work . I was Happy about the price of your tools , you might want to make sure they work properly before selling them . I have pulled hundreds of pinion gears , with my Jim's puller ,it works fine .
