Bad luck

I have purchased this gun and I used a brand new 12.v 3.0 battery recomended from Milwaukee tech. Since from the first time the gun didn't work. I have to removed the battery and connected back and them work for couple of minutes and stop. I check the battery and it's fully charge. If I let the battery connected to the gun for couples of minutes then the gun does not work.
