You get what you pay for
For the modest cost this is a good, not great performer. It is suited for small to medium size rooms. You will need efficient speakers and be able to work with the limited inputs and sound modification possibilities. I am pleased with its performance as it is what I assumed. I use it in my office with two Paradigm bookshelf speakers to play internet radio and a cd or two. Works well.
