I enjoy model railroading, especially O-gauge… trains, 1:43 diecast cars, building a few models including wooden structures. And I’m passionate about IndyCar racing, having been going to Indy for qualifications and/or the “500” since 1964. Almost as passionate as I am about family!

Nicely made tank car, though you'd likely have to have an affinity for John Deere to want this car.

Lionel postwar caboose
The caboose had a bit of wheel rust which cleaned up easily. It is, after all 70 years old. It was nicely packed and arrived on time.

Understanding Fiber Optics - book
The book is far more technical, after the first three or four chapters, than I need. It did, however, answer most of my questions so I rate it highly. I'm adding LED and fiber optic lights to a model railroad and I wanted to get more than just a basic understanding of fiber optics. This book helped me accomplish that.
