Decent textbook!
I needed this text for a class on Classical Mythology. Sometimes the text goes off on various tangents and is sometimes hard to follow. I like the selections of mythical stories that the text includes. I have never used any other book on this topic.

The text and commentaries are well written. The maps are some of the best that you can find of the described time periods.
