Nice range of magnifications, and nice illumination. Be aware that this is really a monocular tool, you would really only be using one eye at a time since the focal distance is so close. Great tool for close up views.

Wonderful book and series!

Wonderful story, I like the tips along the way for doing your own pond watching, great format! I ended up looking for some of her books and publications. This whole Naturalist's Apprentice series is GREAT! Very well done, needs to come back into print.
