Great value compared to other feature laden high end chronographs
In my opinion, this watch has all the features of many much more expensive chrono's I've had in the past. e.g. Raymond Weil etc. Sure, its not a Swiss movement, but these new electric movements are just as accurate as the Swiss ones were 30 years ago. My RW was worn out in 10 years of hard use, but cost $500 more than this watch, so even if this one lasts a couple of years, I'll be ahead of the game. I've had a few indiglo's in the past too, and they are all still working after many years of service. The quality and detail on this T49824 is just as nice as more expensive watches. It has good weight, actually its quite heavy and sturdy, and looks and feels like good quality. There is nothing cheesy about this watch. The slide rule bezel has a firm yet smooth rotation. The watch is comfortable and easy to read. Timex is just a great option for an economy, good looking and hard wearing time piece. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great Atlas, nice complement to GPS
I used the Atlas this week end to plan a trip down to North Carolina. It was accurate, easy to handle and use / read. Its so good to be able to plan ahead and see how you will get to where youre going, rather than relying just on GPS...we used both, but it helps to see where you are on a larger map, and where you are headed too, instead of just knowing when you get there. Also, you can see if GPS is sending you on an unnecessary detour or bogus route, which it sometimes does. I highly recommend this Atlas, and keeping one in the car for trips.
