The final acts ...
The final act in the drama of Thomas Cromwell's life. A good read, although lengthy. Mantel does thorough research ... as good as any historian ... so you can be sure you are getting an accurate picture of events as well as all the drama you would expect from a great novelist. I reread the first two and finished with the third ... a mammoth task but well worth it to be immersed in the story ...

Only a little way into this book at the moment but already I am gripped. Tom Holland is an excellent writer who does his research thoroughly and writes very readable text ...
