The OEM product worked perfectly where the aftermarket version did not.

HP Z820 Heatsink Assy
It’s an HP Z820 heatsink. Well constructed and designed. Specific to the Z820. You may need the separate fan that goes in the fan assembly if you are installing a second processor. Be careful of the little black ‘e’ clips that retain the mounting screws. One of mine popped off and they are hard to find and reinstall as you need to compress the spring. So don’t mishandle it.
